What Does It Mean to Be a AAA-Approved Auto Repair Shop?

By Jack Bulko

You’ve heard of AAA (the American Automobile Association) and may even be a member of the club, enjoying the perks and benefits that come along with membership in that organization. But are you familiar with AAA-Approved Repair Shops, or how going to one can positively impact the maintenance and repair of your vehicle?

AAA sets rigorous standards for automobile repair shops that must be met before a car repair facility can receive that designation. To make sure these benchmarks are upheld, they send representatives to visit and vet shops throughout the country.

AutoAid has been a AAA-Approved Repair Shop for over 30 years, and we are proud to be a member of the AAA family. But before we earned that title, we had to meet certain criteria.

ASE-Certified Technicians. AAA demands that shops with their certification employ highly-trained automotive technicians that have been certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. You’ve heard us brag about our ASE-Certified technicians. That’s because they’re that good and can diagnose and solve a multitude of automotive issues.

Excellent Parts and Service. We had to meet the benchmarks AAA has set for automotive services, including quality workmanship, using OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts and providing excellent customer service. We have always done business with the highest standards in mind and the fact that AAA embraces these same core values is icing on the cake. We wouldn’t do business any other way.

Quality Tools and Repair Services. As a AAA-Approved Repair Shop, we are also expected to equip our shop with the tools and equipment that allow us to provide the public with a wide range of services, from the maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems to tune-ups and repairs or service to engines, brakes, electrical systems, etc. Our highly-trained technicians can fix just about any malfunction or maintenance issue your car has. This allows you to get back to your life with little downtime and the assurance that we are taking care of everything.

Free Inspections. AutoAid provides a Car and Truck Courtesy Check of your vehicle to ensure that any of the items that frequently contribute to problems on the road are sound and not on the verge of breaking down or wearing out. We look at seven major areas with more than 38 separate vehicle points, including the wiper and washer system, exterior lights, air conditioning system and the battery. Our mechanics will also evaluate the condition of your tires, brakes, steering and suspension systems, and more. And as suggested by AAA, if any maintenance or repairs are required or suggested, we provide customers with a written recommendation regarding each and why they are warranted.
We regularly earn a 100% Customer Satisfaction Evaluation Score with the American Automobile Association (AAA) and strive to offer the best automotive service in the area. That’s what makes AutoAid different from some of the other shops—we aren’t just in business to make money, we genuinely care about you and your family’s safety on the road.

As a savvy consumer, we know that you’ve likely checked on Yelp!, Facebook, Angie’s List and other online sites for the top shops, or have asked friends or family to see who they have used in the past. And we want you to continue doing it. However, those sites often don’t show you the bigger picture, including services, quality, workmanship, customer relations, etc. Visit our site and take our virtual tour. If you have any questions, feel free to call or email us and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. You can also make a service appointment online. At AutoAid, we do our best to make your life easier, giving you peace of mind on and off the road. We hope that next time you have a problem with your car, you’ll relax, knowing that AutoAid is your auto diagnostic, repair, maintenance and towing connection.
